Mrs. Wendi Dorey is in her 8th year with CEP. Both my kids went through the CEP program. I worked here for several years and took some time off. I’m so excited to be back and I am enjoying my time being with the 3s in the classroom.
Ms. Talia Mosconi is in her 8th year with CEP.
Mrs. Katie Polk is in her 16th year at CEP. Her children all attended CEP and she started as an assistant teacher when her youngest joined our program. She has been a lead teacher with the 2s and 3s classes over the years. A Virginia Tech graduate with a degree in Early Childhood Education, she brings experience and enthusiasm to her new role as Director. While she will miss being in the classroom with our CEP students, she looks forward to guiding this fabulous staff and working with our wonderful families to continue to build our program. And she's excited to be leading weekly Science classes for all classes, as well.

Mrs. Kathy Walsh is in her 1st year with CEP. Kathy Walsh is the assistant teacher for the two year old, Ladybug and Bee classes. She has lived in Virginia her whole life and resides in Springfield with her husband, daughter and cat. She graduated from West Springfield HS and has a Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech. Kathy was a CEP room parent, parent board member, Fun Fair Co-chair and substitute teacher while her daughter attended CEP. She is happy to be joining us on staff this year.

Mrs. Kristy Stoddard is in her 8th year with CEP. She has taught all of our age groups and is currently the Lead Teacher for our Shining Stars (4 year old) class.

Music Teacher
Mrs. Tiffany Lafarier is in her 2nd year with CEP. In addition to her classroom experience, she has volunteered in a toddler room during church services, has previous experience in childcare settings, and is working towards her degree in Early Childhood Education. Tiffany, a mother of three, has her youngest child in CEP’s Shining Stars (4s) class this year.
Mrs. Amanda Buehrig is in her 3rd year with CEP. She is excited to be the Lead Teacher in our Bees class.
Mrs. Karen Battagello is in her first year with CEP.
Mrs. Jillian Rybalsky is in her 1st year with CEP. She has been a music educator for many years, most recently as a Music Together specialist. She looks forward to creating confident music makers at CEP as she teaches fundamental musical concepts through developmentally appropriate play.
